TURMERIC GINGER TEA
The main ingredients of this drink are Turmeric and Ginger. Turmeric contains a compound called curcumin which regulates the immune system While Ginger contains gingerol, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
This natural drink will prevent you from cold and keep you healthy. Turmeric ginger tea’s strong anti-inflammatory properties can help ease inflammation and pain as well.
STEPS TO MAKE DRINK
Boil 2 glasses of water add ½ tsp Turmeric. Stir it. Now add some crushed ginger along with half tsp of black pepper powder, ½ tsp of cinnamon powder, and 1 tsp of jaggery powder. Mix it well. Now squeeze ½ lemons and healthy turmeric ginger tea is ready.
Kadha is an ayurvedic immunity booster drinks This herbal blend kadha said to be the best remedy against fever and sore throat . Apart from boosting your immunity, it needs to combat infections, it is claimed that Kadha can improve digestion and detox the body. STEPS TO MAKE KADHA
Make a mixture of black pepper (4 pieces), ½ tsp of cinnamon powder, 2 black cardamoms, and 2 cloves crush it well. Now add this mixture to boiling water with some basil leaves and ½ tsp of dry ginger powder. Add honey or jaggery as per taste and drink it!!

Crush all 4 ingredients into powder-(Elachi, Black Pepper, Dry Ginger, Cinnamon Powder) add it to 2 cups of water and boil it for 2 minutes. Now add some raisins and basil leaves. After 1 minute add jaggery powder as per your taste and let it boil for 2 minutes. Now drink it with few drops of lemon Juice.

Apart from this immunity boosters, the Indian health ministry is also recommended few organic and natural ways to practise as preventive measures to fight against COVID-19.
The Ministry of AYUSH has suggested the following self-care guidelines as preventive measures and to boost immunity and with special reference to respiratory health.
- Drink warm water throughout the day ( minimum 8 glass of water )
- Practice Yogasana, Pranayama, and meditation for at least 30 minutes.
- Spices like Haldi (Turmeric), Jeera (Cumin), Dhaniya (Coriander), Adhrak powder ( Dry Ginger powder) and Lahsun (Garlic) are recommended in cooking.
- Drink herbal tea/decoction (Kadha) made from Tulsi (Basil), Dalchini (Cinnamon), Kalimirch (Black pepper), Shunthi (Dry Ginger) and Munakka (Raisin) – once or twice a day. Add jaggery (natural sugar) and / or fresh lemon juice to your taste, if needed.
- Golden Milk- Half teaspoon Haldi (turmeric) powder in 150 ml hot milk – once or twice a day.
- Take Chyavanprash 10gm (1tsf) in the morning. Diabetics should take sugar-free Chyavanprash.
